As some will know, it’s national eating disorder awareness week, something everyone should be mindful of.

Mental illnesses are quite literally petrifying. To battle with your own mind everyday is something no one should suffer.

Remember that everyone is fighting his or her battle.

No matter how you feel, get up. Get dressed. Show up. And never give up! Not for anyone else, but for yourself.

Don’t give in to society. It’s all advertising. It’s False. Not the real deal.

Live and do your life how you want it.

Stick together. Don’t isolate yourself. Offer people your kindness. Good vibes. Karma. Vibrations. Energy. It will come back.

Learn to live with your heart wide open.

Focus on the good. Retract the bad.

Every - body is different. Do not spend precious energy on comparing yourself to others.

Life is short so be thankful for blissful moments. They're truly magic. Be mindful. Be gentle. Be caring.

A friend once said to me that we have been put inside these bodies to enable us to carry ourselves from place to place, to experience things, see things and live our life. Wise words my friend.

Your far more important than a number.

Your health comes first, up and beyond anything.

So ... nourish your body with goodness. Give it love and it will give you love. Your body is a temple and you are its master. Never forget it.

Express how you feel as this constantly evolves - keep a diary. Write online anonymously. Doodle. Illustrate. Photograph. Let it all out.

Talk to someone. Share. Chances are there is someone who feels the same. Who can relate and who can help.

These should get you started. :)

Try some Mindful excersises such as Yoga, Swimming or dance . Fight those inner demons by inhabiting gentle techniques and rhythms which restore your energy, and your aura.

I will be continuing to do photos with Kyla Flegg soon, capturing the essence of yoga and all it encompasses. Kyla has recently started a restorative yoga class at Falmouth Yoga Space on a sunday. Check her out. It's a relaxing and calming way to end the week on a good note and begin the new one with good vibes. She also runs a Friday Evening class at Jubilee Wharf in Penryn.

Keren Cooksey continues running her wonderful classes every week. The timetable is up on the website.

I am also going to be taking portraits of students who have a story to tell or even a few words to say about why they practice or do what they do to remain Mindful and well.

This will show the vast amount of people in the area and Falmouths influence and effects perhaps both before and after beginning their life and university.

By capturing small moments between people, this will hopefully portray the importance of interaction and its influence and need for attention within the british culture and society.

It would be fantastic to include people who have stayed on from Uni too and interview them as to why and the magic of the place.

This blog is all about people who are connected in various forms with the land and water and their souls.

My aim continues to be capturing people who lead a distinctive lifestyle, promoting wellbeing and health.

If you are interested in being featured, get in touch and we'll grab a cuppa and chat about it or get straight into it!

Spread the word of encouragement and spread the love always!

Namaste x
